Each province in Canada has their own invitation system to regularly draw permanent residency following the economic situation.

Therefore, on the last day of every month, 

Murphy will arrange the invitation results of each province and upload the result by a table to watch easily.

In January 2024, the BC had three draws.

Except for the second draw on January 16, all other draws were in both the general draw and the job target draw, 

 and the job target draw has been in progress since it was implemented in March 22.

 Job target draw, ECE and healthcare were proceeded with each code in 2022, 2023, 

 since November 2023, 

 construction area has been also drawn as the target draw, and in 2024 draw is expanded to Veterinary care field, 

so total 5 field was drawn as a job target.

 

 

 When you look at the draw in January 2024, , and you can notice that it stands out. And looking at 2023’s general draw, 

the score was maintained at around 105-110 points and exceeded 110 points in the fourth quarter of 2023. 
However, you can see the begin of the draw in January 2024, 

the general draw is likely to be selected in the high score range in the future, 

as the starting point is in the 120-point range, which is higher than the selection in 2023.

 

 Especially, when you are in Metro Vancouver, even though you’ve completed your study in BC, 

 you can’t receive the whole regional point (a perfect score of 25), 

 so you should prepare by considering language, career, regional movement, and other varies.

 

 

  
Following the next, job target draw.

ECE, Healthcare, and Technology are among the categories to pay attention to in 2024. 

ECE is still attracting attention after the draw of job targets, 

as the draw score continues to be 60 points, so many people consider it with various options to get points by English score and other options.

 

There are many occupations in the healthcare field, but there are still many people who want to apply for the HCA (Health Care Assistant).

 Now, more and more people are trying to start it through their studies. 

 New Caledonia College - 1 year health care assistant, 2 years 

VCC -health care assistant, 

 and Selkirk College - Health Care Assistant 2-year course is open.

 Since staring the target draw, Tech field continued drawing at around score 70 ~ 80, 

and its score began to rise last year and surpassed score 90.
104 points in the first draw in 2024, continuing its high starting score.  

In addition to, people ,who studied in BC and already had work experiences in their nations or abroad, 

have been preparing for the draw of job targets in tech.

 

Since the start of draw,the score is likely to remain or rise slightly rather than fall for the time following the trend the score.
If you already have experience, you should find a solution to make up for your scores by adding your language skills and experience in BC.

 

 

The next is Construction field.

 This category, which has appeared like a new star since November 2023, is a field related to Trade.

  

 

 

 

You can check the job title started with NOC 72, 73.

 

Since the first draw in November 2023, Canada has continued to draw around 75 points.

 After graduating from major relating to construction or having the required certificate, you can proceed this with apprentice status.

 People graduated from majors related to Trade, they were graduated as apprentice, so through job target draw, people can se the advantage of re-planning their goal by job targeting draw.

VCC- Heavy Mechanical Technology 

KPU-Horticulture Technology System 

Okanagan college - Electronics Engineering Technology

 

 

The following are the first job targets draw this year, including variable care. 

Targets for this profession are 31103 Veterinary Doctors, 32104 Animal health technologists, 

and Veterinary Technicians: Veterinary Assistance. 

It only includes two occupations.

 

With a starting score of 60, it is not a high score like ECE and Healthcare job targets, but less than five people are selected. 

You may need to get a job with a degree or license to qualify for both jobs, so you should proceed while watching the flow. 

 

 

 

The BC is one of the most diligent in drawing immigrants.

 

In particular, it is also the first region to show a willingness to secure the necessary talent faster while drawing job targets.

 In the case of ECE targets, there are voices of concern that too many applicants are rushing to stop the selection, 

or that there is a lack of jobs.

 

So far, the draw is based on a relatively low score, but as the number of applicants increases, the selection score can be adjusted.
