The Certificate Program in Real Property Assessment는 총 5과목 (BUSI 121, 330, 344, 443, 444)을 Distance Education통해 수강하는 것으로 구성되어 있습니다. (Winter Term I: September to December and Winter Term II: January to April), 일부 과목들은 여름 학기에 (Summer Term 1: June to September) 제공되기도 합니다.

Comprehensive Case Study (Part B) /Effective September 1, 2001.
The Comprehensive Case Study is a more in-depth project than the Standard Case Study. Students who pass all of the assignments and successfully complete the Comprehensive Case Study have met all of the requirements for BUSI 444 and Course 841 and will receive credit towards the Certificate in Real Property Assessment or Diploma in Urban Land Economics. These students may also meet demonstration report requirements towards professional certification from the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Institute of Municipal Assessors (IMA). If a student chooses to complete only the Comprehensive case study (Part B), it must be received by the Real Estate Division, together with a certified cheque for $175, by the date outlined in the Assignment and Examination Schedules shown in your course handbook. If a student writing the Comprehensive version is unable to meet the submission deadline (due to business pressures or other good cause), they may apply for a deadline extension of up to 4 weeks. A request for an extension must be in writing and must be received by the Real Estate Division before the original Case Study submission deadline. All submissions which are not received by the original deadline are subject to a $50 late examination fee. This fee must be included with all late case study submissions. A case study that is received after the maximum four week deadline extension will result in a failing grade and the student having to repeat the course. Students who complete the Comprehensive Version and do not receive a passing grade, are permitted to resubmit their Case Study twice. The fee for each resubmission is $175. If both resubmissions receive a failing grades, then the student must repeat the entire course. As above, the student must meet the specified deadlines, or they will receive a failing grade and have to repeat the course.
Standard Case Study Examination: Part A and Comprehensive Case Study Examination: Part B
Students who undertake the Standard Version of the examination may subsequently choose to complete the Comprehensive Case Study. Students should mail or fax a request to complete the Comprehensive Case Study to the Examination Department at the Real Estate Division (please see the Contact Us page for details). All requests must be accompanied by a $250 materials and marking fee, payable by certified cheque, visa or MasterCard. Students who complete the Comprehensive Case Study and do not receive a passing grade, are permitted to resubmit their Case Study twice. The fee for each resubmission is $250. In order for a student to complete the Comprehensive Case Study using the same database as that used for their standard exam, comprehensive Case Studies must be received within one year of a student’s completion in the program. Students may apply to complete the comprehensive examination in subsequent years as well, but will be required to complete the version of the examination used in that year, and may be required to purchase updated course materials. 자료출처: http://www.sauder.ubc.ca/re_creditprogram/programs/rpa/index.cfm |
