펜실베니아주의 Westmoreland County에 속하는 Greensburg에 위치한 Greensburg Central Catholic High School은 산을 끼고 주택가로 들어서면 저편에 보이는 곳이 학교 건물입니다. 학교주변은 조용한 편이며 3-4분 정도 차로 나오면 주택가가 나옵니다. 1959년 9월에 첫 수업이 시작되어 현재 555명의 학생이 재학 중이며 9-12학년이 제공되고 있습니다. GCCHS 는 2005년 기준으로 총 2명의 한국 학생이 있으며 교사와 학생비율이 1:15 정도입니다. 학교에서는 Honors, AP 그리고 College Credit 를 제공하고 있으며 많은 학생들이 이 프로그램을 수강하고 있습니다. English, Math, Science, Foreign Language 그리고 Social Studies의 모든 레벨이 Honors 과목으로 제공되고 있으며 AP 과목으로는 Biology, Chemistry, U.S History 그리고 English 가 개설되어 있습니다. 
무엇보다도 이 학교의 자랑은 Peer Tutoring 으로 주변 대학 대학생들이 GCCHS 학생들의 개인교사가 되어주는 프로그램으로 다양한 과목을 대학생과 학생을 연결해서 학생의 부족한 과목을 보충할 수 있는 프로그램입니다.
또 하나는 Tutorial Services로 Math Lab(Education and Training Consultants), Reading을 지원하고 있습니다. Math Lab은 자격을 갖춘 교사가 월요일부터 금요일 오전 7시 30분에서 오후 3시 10분까지 수학과목에 관련된 모든 사항을 지원을 받을 수 있습니다. Reading 은 일주일에 한번씩 각 학생에게 필요한 읽기에 필요한 부분을 보충, 교정해주는 시간입니다. GCCHS에서 졸업하기 위해서는 아래와 같이 각 과목당 학점을 이수해야 합니다. SAT 성적은 1151점 이며 버지니아는 1024점보다 우위에 있으며 SAT II는 과목별로 아래와 같은 평균점수가 나타나고 있습니다. | English | 4 | Religion | 4 | | Mathematics | 3 | Fine Arts | 1 | | Science | 3 | Health | 0.5 | | Social Studies | 3.5 | Physical Education | 1 | | Foreign Language | 2 | Electives | 3 | Carnegie Mellon University, George Mason University, North Carolina State University, Penn State University, Univ. of North Carolina-Greensboro, Univ. of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, University of San Diego, University of Virginia, Georgia Tech, New York University, Virginia Tech 등 미국, 캐나다에 있는 유수한 대학으로 졸업생의 88%가 4년제 대학에 입학하고 있으며 10% 정도가 Community College에 진학하고 있습니다.

 Fine Arts 관련 많은 프로그램이 지원되고 있는데 이 중에서도 25주년이 되는 봄 뮤지컬 공연은 학생들이 공연뿐만 아니라 무대장치, 의상, 조명 및 음향까지도 참여하고 있습니다. 157명의 학생들이 중찬단,합창단, 밴드 그룹에 속해서 활동하고 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라 아트클럽에서는 작품을 만들거나 맥도날드 같은 상점창문에 그림그리기로 아픈학생들 혹은 집 없는 사람들을 돕기 위한 기금마련을 하는 이벤트를 열기도 합니다. 또한 전시회에 참여하기도 하고 다른 아트 박물관을 견학하거나 대학 예술학부에 방문해서 많은 작품과 이론을 배울 수 있는 폭넓은 기회를 갖고 있습니다. 스포츠, 예술분야 뿐만 아니라 GCCHS 는 총 학생 중의 94%가 4년제 대학에 입학하고 있으며, SAT I의 성적은 평균 1101점이며 SAT II는 과목별로 Writing 628점, Math IC 649점 그리고 Chemistry 615점을 보여주고 있습니다. 학비는 2005-2006년 기준으로 $6,950 입니다. | Course | Grade 9 | Grade 10 | Grade 11 | Grade 12 | | Religion | Religious
