저번에 배운 fragment 기억나실까요?

 하나의 완벽한 문장처럼 보이도록 잘못 사용되고 있는 단어들의 그룹을 말하죠!

이처럼  dependent clause 또한 혼자서 독자적으로 사용될 수 없는 구를 말합니다.

그렇지만 많은 분들께서 이러한 문장들을 하나의 완전한 문장처럼 사용하고 있는 경우을 많이 볼 수 있습니다.

아래 머피가 나열해드리는 단어로 시작되는 문장은 혼자 쓰여질 수 없는 dependent clause들입니다!

시간:when, whenever, unti, till, before, after, while, once, as soon as, as long as

장소: where, wherever

원인: becuase, as, since

조건: if, even if, unless, provided that

대조: although, though, even though, whereas, while

비교: than, as, as if, as though

목적: so that, in order that

결과: so... that, such ... that
